FSD (Supervised) available in Canada in line with the US rollout

FSD (Supervised) is available to owners of eligible Tesla vehicles in Canada, in line with the North American rollout. According to Tesla, the feature is enabled on Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y and Cybertruck vehicles, and new owners are offered a 30-day trial of the latest FSD (Supervised) capabilities.

The distribution model in Canada has changed. From mid-February 2026, Tesla ended outright purchases of FSD in Canada and the United States, and for most owners a subscription became the only route to access the feature; a monthly FSD (Supervised) subscription is offered at 99 dollars per month. In some other markets, such as Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, the option to buy outright remains.

In regulatory terms, the "Supervised" designation underscores that this is not autonomous driving: the system requires continuous driver attention and readiness to intervene. FSD (Supervised) is a Level 2 feature and does not relieve the driver of responsibility for operating the vehicle. Availability in Canada therefore means that owners of eligible cars can activate the feature while remaining fully responsible for the driving.
