FSD (Supervised) has become available to owners in Australia and New Zealand on eligible vehicles. According to available reporting, the launch in both countries took place in September 2025 and at this stage covers vehicles fitted with Hardware 4 (HW4).
Australia is notable as the first market where the system operates in left-hand traffic, which required adapting to a different road configuration compared with right-hand-drive markets.
For owners in Australia and New Zealand this marks the shift from a pending status to real availability: those with an eligible vehicle can use FSD (Supervised) as a driver-assistance system in which the driver remains responsible and must supervise the driving. Timelines for extending support to earlier hardware (HW3) have not been officially announced.
